Procedure: Granting Virbela Access to Participants for Program Virtual Sessions

How to grant participants access on campus for program virtual sessions

You will need to grant access to the participants when they contract for FOT or an advanced program. This will enable access to their current program virtual campus sessions and other less advanced program sessions for auditing purposes.

Update Virbela Team ID to grant access to participants for the upcoming campus sessions.

  1. Log into the Virbela account.
  2. Select the account “Influence Ecology Global.”
  3. Select the members icon on the upper left of the page underneath your name and photo.
  4. Then, enter the participant name or email into the search bar.
  5. Once you find the participant, click into the Team ID space and select the new program ID. You can find the correct Team ID from the Google Doc, “IE Campus Teams”. Any change made on this screen will auto-save.

How downgrade participants access on campus for program virtual sessions

You will need to downgrade access a participant when they are removed or reneg from an advanced program or from FOT. This will restrict their advanced program access from locations and virtual sessions on campus.

Update Virbela Team ID to downgrade access to participants from campus locations and virtual campus sessions.

  1. Log into the Virbela account.
  2. Select the account “Influence Ecology Global.”
  3. Select the members icon on the upper left of the page underneath your name and photo.
  4. Then, enter the participant name or email into the search bar.
  5. Once you find the participant, click into the Team ID space and select the correct downgraded program ID. You can find the correct Team ID from the Google Doc, “IE Campus Teams”. Any change made on this screen will auto-save.

How Suspend or Delete participants on campus

You will need to delete or suspend a participant if they are removedĀ  for nonpayment or renegged from their contract. Deleting a contact in Virbela will remove them from the site and they will need to re-create their profile should they want to return as a guest. Suspending a contact will block the participant from logging in as a participant or guest.

Update Virbela Contact to suspend or delete their profile.

  1. Log into the Virbela account.
  2. Select the account “Influence Ecology Global.”
  3. Select the members icon on the upper left of the page underneath your name and photo.
  4. Then, enter the participant name or email into the search bar.
  5. Once you find the participant, click the checkbox to the left of their email.
  6. Click on the “Actions” option right above the search bar and select “Suspend All Selected”. This will block the user from logging in with that email address.
  7. To delete a participant, scroll to the far right and click the three horizontal bars in the column “Options”
  8. Select “Delete”. This will delete the user, requiring them to re-create their profile should they want to revisit the campus.
  9. Any change made on this screen will auto-save.
