This should bring you to the Dashboard.
On the left hand side, click on Magic Members.
Click Content Control
Click Downloads tab
Scroll down to Manage Downloads section.
Under Add Download
Enter title for file (eg LIP Study Paper 1)
Click in area for uploading a file, will bring up a window for browsing for the desired file. Typically you’ll be told where the files are located. Select file for uploading.
Once done uploading,under Restrict Access? section,
Check “If checked, only users of the appropriate access level can access the file. User level is calculated by checking access to a certain post or posts.”
NOTE: When selecting which levels have access you can hold the Ctrl button before making a selection which will allow you to select multiple items from the dropdown.
Scroll down through the box of options selecting the types of restrictions you want on the file (eg for LIP Study Papers, select Leadership Intervention, scroll down to “Mechanics and Practice” holding ctrl button select Mechanics and Practice).
Scroll down and click save.
Before proceeding, repeat these steps if you have multiple items for uploading
Once files are uploaded, to get the restricted URL do the following for each file:
Scroll back to the top of the screen.
Find paper (will typically the files you just uploaded will be at the top of the list), click Edit.
Scroll down to Manage Downloads section.
Find line starting with “Protected URL:”, select part of the line that reads http://www.influeneceecology.com/download?code=….. all the way to the end of the line. Ctrl-C to copy this.
In email to whoever requested the files be uploaded, paste (Ctrl-v) this line. Should look similar to http://my.influentialu.global/download?code=506fb3ba5b8d6
Repeat for additional files needed.
